The file 'Mini GT HKS Toyota GR Supra Display Base 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 237.0KB.
A base for Mini GT HKS Toyota GR Supra, it should work with all HKS kit GR Supra that Mini GT releasing.
I've also included an additional generic base so it is not fixed to the Mini GT HKS GR Supra.
The display base is separated into 3 parts for easy printing and colour swap. The parts are:
1) Name plate (NamePlateAssem.STL and NamePlateHKSOnly.STL)
2) Base (BaseV2.STL and BaseV2 (NoHoles).STL)
3) Base back wall (BoxBackV1.STL)
There are 2 variants of Base and Name plate in this, the one in my pictures are "BaseV2" and "NamePlateAssem".
The difference for each base are:
My standard base design with holes pre made so that wires can go through to hold the car.
My standard base design but with the holes removes, so you could drill your own holes to fit any car you wanted.
The difference for each name plate are:
As shown in the picture, it is made for the HKS GR Supra with modelled HKS and Toyota Supra names on it.
A generic design with just the HKS branding on it.
Nozzle size = 0.4 mm (minimum, smaller better)
Layer height = 0.2 mm
Filament change layer for colours on "BoxBackV1":
1) Layer 19 (Lower HKS tear design, mine is in green)
2) Layer 24 (Upper HKS tear design, mine is in purple)
3) Layer 29 (HKS thin lines, mine is in red)
4) Layer 34 (HKS logo background, mine is in white)
5) Layer 39 (HKS lettering and border around the square, mine is in black)
Filament change layer for colours on "NamePlateAssem":
1) Layer 7 ("Toyota" lettering, mine is in red)
2) Layer 11 ("Supra" lettering and HKS square background, mine is in white)
3) Layer 15 (HKS lettering on square, mine is in black)
Filament change layer for colours on "NamePlateHKSOnly":
1) Layer 8 (HKS square background)
2) Layer 13 (HKS lettering on square and borders around the square)
Colours of all other items is your choice.
The car is tied with metal wire through the display base holes, the wire will need to be slide between the wheels and the metal body.
Back plate should slide in nicely into the display base. The name plate might need some trimming to the side to fit into the box.
I have not test both generic design, but they should print just fine.
Feel free to send me any feedback on how to improve the design. Suggestion on display base designs are welcomed too.
The transparent box I'm using to store the base and car in one of the picture is bought from here: https://shopee.com.my/Tarmac-Work-Protector-tarmac-box-i.13932494.1598531194
