Vent mount and phone holder for Mini F56 RHD (although i see no reason it would not work for LHD too).
I had a Brodit ProClip, but it broke the first time i installed it. I returned it, and the second one broke in the same way, so I resorted to sticky pads to hold it in place. My eyesight has changed somewhat, and the phone needs to be closer. I used the tilt/swivel adapter from the old mount with custom-designed items for the car and phone. The hole pitch is for the Brodit part 215500, hole distances are 30mm x 38mm
The phone holder is for an iPhone 15 with Spigen case, the cable port may require a remix depending on your cable size. Screw holes are also for the same Brodit tilt/swivel adapter
Use a sticky pad on the rear arm to fix it to the dash if you need to.
The central display DOES need to come off to install it, it takes about 30 mins from start to fully re-assembled. You CANNOT install or remove it without disassembly, although there is a chance that if you remove the top part of the clip it it may well stay attached (you'll definitely need the aforementioned sticky pad if you do that). You'll need a T25 and a T30 to dismantle the car, and it would be a good idea to thread a cable whilst it is off.
The cloth tape was added to stop a rattle, but I'm not convinced it was actually coming from there.
