The chains to link the carts are made from 0.5mm thick wire. Wind the wire into a coil around a cylinder with 1.2mm diameter (small screw driver will do). The coil is then cut into little rings with a wire cutter. The middle chain link is round. The first and last links are slightly oval and can be wound around the tip of a slotted screwdriver.
