The file 'Mine For Scythe 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.8MB.
This is the second building that I've made for the board game, Scythe. This is the Mine entrance, which was a lot of fun to design! I did this one entirely in Blender and used some forced perspective tricks to try and make it look deeper than it really is. All in all, I'm really happy with how the model's turned out, although I have no idea how I'm going to get a paint brush in there to paint it.
The word on the sign (закритий) is Ukranian for "private", which I selected because no other player is allowed to use your mine in the game. I'm figuring that I'll paint the sign with each nation's colors, which should readily differentiate one player from another.
I printed it just fine with no support. The horizontal I-Beams have a tiny bit of droop on their bottom layers due to the bridging, but I think that it turned out just fine despite that.
I've posted a small gallery of photos of my scythe upgrades onto my blog at http://objectforge.blogspot.com/p/scythe-upgrades.html, so feel free to check it out if you're interested!
If you don't want to print this yourself, it may be available from one of my 3D Printing Partners listed at https://objectforge.blogspot.com/p/3d-printing-partners.html!
