I wanted to know I had a spare if one of these somehow broke. I like the printed one better than the original. I messed up and around the bottom of the pin is about 1mm lower than the original. it rubs the latch and makes for a tighter more secure connection. still works though. I use it with:

You can reuse the connecting rod, you may have to ream out the holes a bit with a drill bit or something. I have found it easier to replace the rod with 10-24 threaded rod cut to length. connect it to a drill and ream it out, cut it to length, put it back on the drill to screw it mostly in, and use pliers to twist it the rest of the way in. I haven't found a good replacement for the metal part that actually holds the lid down.
