I have been looking for a rod holder to put on the Milk Crate I have on my E-Bike and could only find one, which required multiple-size bolts. So once I found BeeJay81's version for a wire frame bike basket I figured it would be pretty easy to convert plus his only needs zip ties. V2 is shorter than the original and the zip tie holes have been moved more towards the middle. It seems to work best with spinning combos as the finger hold on my baitcasting combo prevents it from sliding completely down but it still seems secure enough for travel however this is an untested theory.
