The file 'Military Tent Pole Guy-Wire Cap 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 15.7KB.
This is an end cap for a military surplus tent pole that is designed to be used as a guy wire anchor point when using these tent poles as antenna masts for amateur radio.
The cap has three guy wire anchor points 120° apart as well as a 1/4 inch hole which can be used to thread wire through to hold something such as a G5RV or tapped so a threaded bolt can be put through for other antenna wire assemblies such as an inverted V or L style antenna.
If you intend to put a threaded bolt through, please use a nylon bolt or print your own out of a non-conductive material. The entire assembly is designed to be non-conductive, so it does not affect any antenna installations.
It is strongly recommended that you print this with a weather resistant and UV resistant polymer such as AMA. Supports are not needed.
When printing, print it upside down so the cap and anchor points are in contact with the build plate.
