My microwave broke and I wanted to re-use some parts. I took the fan, used an old wire with an included switch, and designed this cool case for it. It's meant to resemble an airplane turbine. But I added the hex grid to make it safer and to hide the copper tile.
Included Fusion 360 model so that you can adjust the measurements.
The base allows some tilting.
If you put it the other way, it serves as a fume extractor.
Everything can be printed without supports except for the back part, that requires some tree supports to hold the horizontal part.
None of the screw holes should require any support.
I made sure the part where the hinge is, has 100% infill. I did using the Support Blocker extension of Cura.
