I wanted to set up a phone on a microphone stand to record video/timelapse at a full-day event. I needed a way to mount an external power bank on the mic stand so I could keep the phone plugged in and charging throughout the day even while relocating around the building.
I designed this caddy to hold my power bank and clip it on to the shaft of my mic stand. I sized the case so that it can hold a standard power bank or phone with case (based on iPhone plus sizes).
The inner dimensions of the case are:
Height: 60mm
Width: 82mm
Depth: 20mm
The clip is designed to attach to a 15mm diameter shaft.
I've included STLs for the case and clip as separate objects in case anybody wants to resize the clip to a different diameter shaft. You can rescale the clip and merge it with the case.
