The file 'Microphone Stand 3D Printer Model' is (scad, stl) file type, size is 73.2KB.
I needed a small (10cm tall) desktop stand to hold my old-skool DJ microphone in front of my face. (Just the stand part, I already had the clip part that actually holds the mic.)
Designed to build without supports. The fitting isn't threaded, just slightly tapered - my mic holder just sits on top (pictured) and can swivel.
Two "platter" files are supplied which have everything pre-plated neatly for the Tripod or Quinpod versions, but all parts are supplied separately as well. OpenSCAD file also provided, so customize/hack away.
The "Socks" are not completely necessary, but they stop the stand rocking on uneven surfaces. (You're the only one supposed to be rockin' the mic.)
I've only printed the tripod version, so the qinpod version is "experimental" - i'll make it next once/if the tripod breaks. I think it looks more pro, but the print time is longer, and I needed one fast.
If you also need a mic holder to go on top, this one looks mostly compatible, depending on your mic's shape: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:145635
