My wife and I had to make our own wedding cake because she has a gluten allergy (and we don't want to pay $500 for a small cake). Needless to say, gluten-free cake recipes are far and few between and the good tasting cakes end up sinking rather than rising in the oven. So, once we placed the home-made fondant over the cake, the fondant looked less than appetizing with all of the craters from the crumbly cake underneath. My wife's brilliant idea (since our wedding was already Disney themed) was to cut out Mickey Heads and cover the bad areas around the cake. Instead of spending the remaining 12 hours before the actual wedding cutting the heads out with scissors or a knife, I quickly modeled and printed a "Fondant Stamp" in under 30 mins!
