The original heat shield on my MGTF crumbled away and I'm going to replace it with one I'm going to make myself. However the existing rubber hangars for the heat shield and back box were too soft and worn. I made this mould to allow me to use polyurethane two part resin (Shore 95A) to make my own replacement hangars.
This mould is in two parts; the main mould and a separate 9mm-10mm bar to form the hole through the bush for the 10mm bar on my stainless back box.
The mould is printed in TPU using lightening infill at 25% so the mould remains flexible enough to allow easy extraction of the bush.
The mould takes two 11mm OD and 9mm ID stainless steel tube and 19mm-20mm long as liners for the holes that take 8mm mounting bolts.
