This is meant to be printed flat, then heated up to be molded to the back of your head. I simply left it on the print bed at about 100°c, then placed it on the back of my head with a few layers of paper as protection, and waited like a minute for it to harden. Even without padding, it will fit your head well enough that you barley feel it's there, and it even works just fine while laying down.
