I recently ran into an issue installing my new WiFi Smart Garage Door Opener. There was no bracket to mount the sensor to the door and my door had a lip on it preventing me from lining it up easily. I made this bracket that the sensor mounts to and then sits behind that lip. Easily attached with a couple of small sheet metal screws.
