The file 'Merchant Wagon 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.6MB.
So I needed a Merchant Wagon for my D&D campaign. Found some very pretty looking ones here on thingiverse, but nothing that suited my personal needs. This one has usable roof space with a ladder from the drivers seat, either for Merchant goods, defenders, or a bit of both. The roof comes off to allow use of the interior space. The wagon features arrow slits for defense, door that opens and closes, and a double window that also opens and closes from where the merchant can conduct his sales. The holes for the door and window hinges are (as always with my designs) sized for 16 gauge tie wire. A large paperclip might also work. This design could also serve as a prisoner transport.
No harness system for pulling animals has been provided as I usually just place my dray animals in front of such an object. This allows different animals to be used at anytime.
As with all my designs, the focus here has been on functionality, before looking pretty (but still has to look alright on the table). The boxy shape and flat surfaces allow for maximum use of space. The surfaces have been marked off with one inch squares to make it easy to integrate on any battle map surface.
You will have to print off 4 wagon wheels, and two Wagon windows for this project. The ladder, pilot seat and wheels just glue on.
