This is a humidifier for different-sized cigar humidors. The lid is designed to help reduce liquid falling out when moved. I use gel beads inside my travel humidors to soak up the solution and prevent spillage. The gel beads release the solution fairly consistently.
There are 2 versions of lids. One has all the tips open, but it makes my smaller travel humidors too swampy. I recommend the version with break-off tips. It only has 4 open tips but you raise the humidity by breaking open more tips (shove a nail or screwdriver down to pop open the ends and open more tips).
I have tried regular distilled water, but prefer the premixed glycol solution.
You should make sure the bottom is printed with a fairly solid fill to prevent leaking.
