It allows to tie and untie a shoe with a single gesture.

To close, press one piece against the other until the click is heard.
To open, press the buttons at the end of each piece simultaneously.

• Once printed, use a file and sandpaper until the moving part slides smoothly and engages correctly with the opposite piece.

• Insert a 5 mm in diameter and 5 mm long spring in the hole for this purpose. If the springs are obtained by cutting a longer one, slightly bend the ends inwards to prevent from hooking once assembled.

• To attach the lid to the box, fasten the lid to the box with two clothespins and put a bit of acetone with a paintbrush at the points of contact of the lid with the box. The acetone will penetrate by capillarity, sticking the lid to the box. If too much acetone is put in, there is a risk that the moving part will stick to the lid or the box, damaging the mechanism. I have pasted enough pieces without problems.

Para abrochar, apretar una pieza contra la otra hasta que se oiga el click.
Para desabrochar, presionar simultáneamente los botones en el extremo de cada pieza.

• Una vez impresas, emplear una lima y papel de lija hasta que la pieza móvil se deslice con suavidad y enganche correctamente con la pieza opuesta.

• Insertar un resorte de 5 mm de diámetro y 5 mm de largo en el hueco a tal efecto. Si dichos resortes se obtienen cortando uno más largo, doblar un poco los extremos hacia dentro para evitar que se enganchen una vez montados.

• Para pegar la tapa a la caja, sujetar la tapa a la caja con dos pinzas de tender la ropa y poner un poco de acetona con un pincel en los puntos de contacto de la tapa con la caja. La acetona penetrará por capilaridad uniendo la tapa a la caja. Si se pone una cantidad excesiva de acetona se corre el riesgo de que la parte móvil se pegue a la tapa o a la caja, estropeándose el mecanismo. Yo he pegado bastantes piezas así sin problemas.
