June 29 2024 No hinge two bolt version is the one I recommend. Hinges break too easy.
Works with a 8mm 4m bolt and nut too
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B073SX3QDF is replacement battery with more reliable connector for Meccanoid and Meccano Robots. Check the polarity, I had to reverse the wires on the output. Do not forget to do so also on the charging unit output.
Wider than the M.A.X. case to accomodate an odd numbered hole width.
One base can be centered on either the new even Meccano or the older more familiar odd hole number based Meccano.
The other is all odd for the older Meccano builds.
New lid with skookum hinge.
