Combined two things to make the thing I wanted.
For standard size jar mouths.
Put some vinegar and a few drops of dish soap in the jar, screw on the lid, and it should help trap fruit flies. (Of course, the best fruit fly remedy is to get rid of whatever they're attracted to!)
