Toroidal propeller made for a bachelor thesis comparing a regular prop and a toroidal prop of same wet blade area and diameter.
Mad with inspiration from the Sharrow Prop
The print was made with fiber-reinforced nylon.
The hub i customised to fit inside a cavitation water stream test tunnel of 40*40 cm
P/D = 0,745
D = 200mm
Trust performs well in the lower RPMs compared to the regular prop.
