Off to do some photography on the coast soon and wanted some thing to stop my tripod sinking in to the sand. It needs to fit my Manfrotto 190Xprob tripod.
The fitting and the joint are a little loose for my liking hopefully some thing that will change as it evolves.
I'll let you know how it performs when I get back.
On soft sand it worked well it barley marked the surface.
However the joint was a little too loose for my liking and often fell apart, also one of the arms on the upper part broke off, resulting in having to place the pad first then placing the tripod on top.
I've also cleaned up the open SCAD file which should make it easier to adjust.
