This tool holder is to mount the Makita RT070X compact trim router to the standard mounting plate of the popular Allted MPCNC. I looked through several existing mounts for these Makita routers and then designed this mount with some of what I saw to be the best features and few additional tweaks I thought would make it work best.

Features:

• Designed to mount very close to the gantry for rigidity
• Minimal loss of X/Y range
• Easy access to the locking button for tool changes
• Router airflow directed away from work
• Integrated dust collection option
• Accepts standard 1-1/4" vacuum hose (31.75mm)
• Magnetically attached dust plate
• Standard mount options to quickly attach pens or lasers without full tool mount change

Parts Required

• 6-32 screws and locking nuts
• 1mmx10mm magnets ( I am only using 4 top / 4 bottom standard refrigerator magnets but the design will accept more)
• 20 gauge or heavier vinyl for dust plate (Note I trimmed the vinyl shorter than it shows in the picture)
• 4-40 screws to attach vinyl directly into the dust plate holes
