The file 'Makeup Organizer 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 63.0KB.
I redesigned this makeup organizer from scratch to address issues with the original design's compatibility with 3D printing. The main body is now split into two parts reducing the need for excessive supports.
I printed the draw with a personalised Knob on the first iteration.
My daughter was very happy with it 🙂
Updated Version (V2)
After printing and assembling the model, I found that I wasn't satisfied with the junction where the two parts meet. Therefore, in this updated version (V2), I have made several enhancements, including the addition of a shadow line and a few other minor improvements to the model.
If your printer prints the model with similar tolerances to mine then the top and bottom sections should just snap together tight enough not to require glue.
For fine-tuning your printer's dimensional accuracy, I highly recommend checking out this awesome resource: Calilantern - Vector3D
I stumbled upon this gem after trying everything else. Just follow the instructions, fill in the included spreadsheet, input the numbers, and voilà —perfect dimensions every time!
