This is definitely a work in progress but it fits pretty well and does what its supposed to so I figured I'd upload it even though I don't consider it to be finished. It's a six led ring that mounts to the X carriage of the MakerFarm Prusa i3 in order to illuminate the work surface. I used some small self tapping screws to attach the ring to the back plate. Be careful though, as the channel the ring fits into is a little on the thin side so it cracks easily. Also, the ring itself is a little thick so when Z is homed, its pretty close to the build surface. I don't see any potential issues, but use it at your own risk. These are both things I plan on improving in the near future (next day or so).
*UPDATE
I redesigned the LED ring and came up with a much better design. The V2 ring has only one part and bolts directly to the X carriage with a captured nut. This offers much more clearance, less complexity and more durability. I'm leaving V1 on here in case anyone has a use for it.
02/03/2014:
I increased the size of the captured nut hole and added a lip on the back of the ring to keep it straight. This version (3.1) works pretty well and I'm considering removing the others.
