In this project students are given 2 nuts and must make a wrench that will fit them. After printing their wrenches they test them out to see if the will work to tighten the nuts onto matching bolts.
This project was completed with 2 groups of 7th grade students. The project was part of an astronomy unit, the idea being the tools could be printed if needed during a mission to Mars.
