For those 3d printing enthusiast. I have uploaded my discontinued product. Your challenges are to print and fit all the four parts together. Not to force in but slide just tight enough. I have given 0.1mm gap, so you need to adjust the multiplying factor a little as 1.1x for the side clip. Print the body clip lying flat. And print all in a pair. Enjoy!!! And don't blame me if you can't fit in. Blame it on your 3d printer.... lol.

Besides you could buy the 3d printed magsavior from http://www.magsavior.com, you'll notice I have added a nice little clip call Mag Clip for the magnetic tip end. Check out: http://www.magsavior.com/pages/magsavior-mag-installation
Hi All, first like to thanks MakerBot for bringing rapid prototyping for a consumer-level a real breeze. Here I've published my continue third (Pre-production) edition. http://www.magsavior.com
After just 3 weeks from my first version, with the support of my fellow colleagues, close friends, and relatives. We have started an indiegogo cloud funding to envision our goal from a 3d printed prototype to final injection mold production.
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/magsavior-save-your-magsafe-power-adapter
Here is the scenario:
Have you ever encountered your MagSafe power adapter for the MacBook blown away suddenly, and you have to buy another one? That will cost you US$79. Have you noticed that the joining part of the adapter and the cable have a kink in it? That is because the negative shielding has worn or torn off. This creates lots of electrical stress on the adapter. Before you know it, you will hear a "POP" sound, and there goes your MagSafe power adapter.
If your MagSafe power adapter is still working and you wish to prolong the lifespan of your power adapter than to spend US$79 to get a new one, here's what we have created. Back our MagSavior and save your power adapter before it's gone! Forget about Googling "How to fix MagSafe adapter".
MagSavior we called it, is invented with an actual need to protect and prolong the usage of the MagSafe adapter. Improved Ideas were created in 3D using Autodesk 123D Design, and multiple prototypes were printed from a 3D printer just to perfect the final product before pre-production.

Please help to contribute in the realization of our project. Share our MagSavoir amongst friends and relatives on Facebook and Twitter, you'll never know when their Magsafe power adapter is going to "Pop".
In addition, If you have a 3d printer and would like to print one for your own usage. Please head down to http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:141012 (Version 2 of my Magsafe Saver)
Please give a comment and like if you find it useful.
And if you wish to learn how I created this in 3d. I have created an instructable on Autodesk 123D Design
