Here is my throw meter for model aeroplanes, mainly aimed at Discus Launch Gliders.
It is in 2 parts and uses 6mm x 2mm N50 Neodymium Magnets CA'd in (super glue) Make sure to orientate the magnets correctly on each part ;)

The measure is printed on some inkjet adhesive paper that I had laying about, added some clear tape over the top to stop marking.
I did clean the surface of the pla where the measure was to go and I sprayed it with some 3m 77 adhesive to help it stick well!
