Magnetic stirrer, 92 mm diameter
The number in the name of the file "Bracket for magnets" is the diameter of the motor of the fan that fits the bracket.
Instructions:
- Cut the fan from its frame and remove the blades.
- Place the 2 magnets 1 next to the other and mark their upper side.
- glue the magnets on the fan, with the marked side facing the same direction. or use the bracket
- Prepare the electronics.
- Glue everything in place with hot glue.
A list of what is needed:
- 120 or 80mm computer fan
- 12v power supply
- 5.5*2.1mm female connector
- 2x strong magnet with a diameter of 10mm and a height of 5mm
- Strong glue (like epoxy)
- (optional) 3 LEDs with a 1k resistor per LED, or a piece of 12V LED strip
- speed controller.
PWM is the best. simple transistor or LM317 circuit can also work, But I found that with the magnets it is difficult for the fan to start with low voltage.
