The filterholder system consists of two part - a base body and a top part (made of two rings). Between two of the top rings the solar filterfilm will be attached.
The top filterfilm holder is connected with magnets to the base body. Use round magnets with 6mm diameter and 1mm height, for each - base body and one of the top part rings.
The base part has three holes for M5 Ruthex thread inserts. I'm using PA (Nylon) screws, to fix the base bodies to each of the Bino tubes.
Pictures show a first prototype. Model of the base body is updated with stanchions/supports to completely cover the thread inserts!
