The file 'Magnetic Polyhedral Dice Holder / Tray 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 23.8KB.
Here is another d20 magnetic dice holder. I made the lid to hold the dice when on the table. The magnet holes are for 6mm diameter / 3mm length disc type magnets, although the lid fits pretty tight if you dont want to use them. Enjoy..... And if someone knows how to turn this into a "customizer" thing, for changing the diameter of the magnet hole on the fly, please let me know.
The files with "25in" in the names were designed with a little thicker top that fits more loosely, and is sized for the 6-pack of .25in neodymium magnets that you can buy at Michael's...but they are kinda steep @ 6 for $4.95. Needed them quick though.
I have printed in various PLA prints in .1mm to .3mm layer heights. Printing with carbon fiber PLA makes the visible outside layers almost completely blend together; with no sanding or finishing required.
***** Make sure you check the polarity of the magnets before placing them into the holes...I did not learn from experience.
Somebody make it, and post a pic. or else.
