Securing medium-to-large sheets of craft wood and acrylic can be annoying when setting up a laser cutting job; even a few millimeters of bowing can put the material out of focus and ruin the cut.
These fast-printing chucks are designed to hold a 32x5mm countersunk magnet (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074BP1FR8). The magnet holds the chuck down to a common honeycomb steel cutting table, and keeps the material secure during the cut. I use four of them — one on each side — for most cuts and they work like a charm.
