2/11/22: Make sure you lay the object flat. The orientation from thingiverse is wrong by default.
8-29-19 Update : I found much better magnets on amazon that are coated and much much strong. With 2 of these magnets the retention is almost too strong which is not a bad thing.

This is a work in progress. I used some epoxy to glue in the magnets but I am not happy with the strength of the magnets I ordered. The Magnets will hold a springfield mod.2 but not as strong as I i'd like them to for mounting in a car. If you want to mount it vertical on the wall they are fine. The gap is 25mm for the slide to fit in so any pistol that is 25mm or less will fit.
The gap at the barrel end is large enough for a 40 cal which means you can push the pistol down while in it's holster to rack a round.
