There are holes for 2 strong Neodymium magnets on each jibbetz so these can be use with either the North or South pole. Most people like to use the North Pole since it is stimulating, whereas the South pole is relaxing. So it depends on what you wear your shoes for.
There are 13 top holes and 7 side holes so 20 total possible holes to fill per shoe. 40 if both shoes holes are filled.
In acupuncture the feet are connect to everywhere else in the body and the pineal gland corresponds with the outside of your big toe. Most people these days have a callus there so that would be a great spot to place a few of the magnets. Perhaps one on the side hole and two up top. Of course there are many other beneficial points especially around all the toes .
