Summary

This is my first attempt to create magnetic bearing. Simple 2 part design housing the rare earth magnets. 10 magnets in the outer ring and 8 magnets in the inner drum.

Adding here some additional description and items:

Let me note that this is not a real magnetic bearing, since I had questions about that.
However the interesting phenomena comes from the fact the the well positioned magnet edges pulling between the outer and the inner ring
This pulling force balances out the rings and the inner ring is kind of locked in the outer ring like levitating.
The ring walls slightly touching each other and that keeps the whole thing in state.
