MagBox Dashboard for Gloomhaven

I tried a lot of different dashboard solutions for Gloomhaven, but none of them had everything I wanted, or they were way too large. So I created this tiny Gloomhaven dashboard! Its only a little larger than the cardboard character boxes And that got me thinking. What if the dashboard WAS the storage box?!

We play with the Gloomhaven Helper app, so the MagBox doesn't have things like status trackers, or XP/HP meters.

Features

• Has space for:

  1. Large character board
  2. Character modifier cards
  3. Character ability cards
  4. One modifier deck
  5. Player Reference and Mission cards
  6. Character Sheet
  7. Character tracking tokens
  8. Writing Utensil (Papermate SharpWriter)

• Uses 3x3mm magnets to remain closed when in storage

• 7 item card slots with space for 2 cards each and tracker row at the bottom.

• 4 active ability slot with a 6 slot tracker. (Need more active cards? Use one of the bottom item slots!

• Can accommodate sleeved cards! (Mayday sleeves tested)

• Only slightly larger than the cardboard character boxes. (2.5mm thicker, 3mm wider, 8mm taller)

Notes

• MagBoxes use 3x3mm neodymium magnets that you can buy in bulk from ali express or ebay.

• You will need 30 magnets per MagBox.

• 1 complete MagBox uses only 130g of filament

• The polarity of the magnets need to all face in the same direction.

• I have tested all pieces and everything is working correctly, but if you run into any problems please make a comment so I can help.

To Do

• Make individual character top/bottom pieces
• Make individual tracker tokens to replace the flimsy cardboard ones

• Modified the bottom piece to accommodate the new larger tracking tokens
• Modified the tracker token slots to be vertical and slots to make it easier to move them

• Changed the way the Icons are attached to the Middle section. It now uses magnets and there is a small hole on the inside of the box so you can pop the icon out and replace it with new ones as you retire characters.
