Summary

UPDATE

Uploaded a newer version with indents and the pointer raised above the top. It is slightly bigger than the smooth version so it slides on the pin easier. I used superglue to keep it in place but it doesn't really need it.

So much like my volume slider replacement story

I got this old Mackie mixer for a video recording job I do once a month. It was misshing a slider (linked above) and a volume knob.

This knob has the indicator line in the right spot and correctly shows the level it is at just like the stock knobs. I had to make it a little bigger on the outside because slicing walls that thin made for some crappy prints. This printed flawlessly as soon as I made the outer walls a bit bigger.

You can see the knob in action in the pictures. It is the red one :P

** My original design had the little texture lines like the original knobs but I was having so much trouble printing I thought I may have been them that was causing the issue. Now that I have it printed well I will try a new file with the texture back in and see how it does.
