Summary

I recently bought a VGA adapter for my Macintosh Portable from techbyandroda (https://androda.work/product/vga-adapter-for-macintosh-portable/). It looks great, but I get nervous with exposed circuit boards in my old computers because I don't want to short anything out. So I built a very rudimentary case for the device.

I think my spacers designed to keep the board in place after assembly are a bit off, so I added some folded paper to keep it snug. Also, after the lid is on, the board has a tendency to lift up off the legs I added to the bottom. I just added some hot glue to help hold it in place.

Note the cutout for the connector that goes into the portable is wider than the port because you need to lower the port in at and angle to the left, lower the board down flat, then slide it over so the VGA port is in position and the microUSB port is up against the inner wall.

Lid is a friction fit. Mine stays on nice and tight.
