The file 'M8 Linear Bearing (LM8LUU Drylin Hybrid) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.1MB.
I saw some LM8LUU printed bearings which take some of the features of the IGUS Drylin bearings concepts, they didn't have the circlip indents of the LM8LUU as well as having square corners on the inner fin angles.
So I designed 2 new LM8LUU bearings with the circlip indents and also added fillets to the inner fin corners. There is a 12 and 18 teeth version, I have made a 28 teeth version but not printed and this may well not be achievable with good results (if anyone prints this I would like to see).
Printed these at 100 microns, 3 shells (which effectively makes it 100% infil almost) and I also dropped the outline edge speed to 35% of the max (50mm/s normal). As can be seen my vertical is a little off so will look into that, but otherwise the models should be dimensionally accurate to the LM8LUU.
I have some circlips on order and intend to fit these on my Wanhao Duplicator i3 once they arrive, will see how they perform compared to a each other and a standard bearing. These are made in PLA, cannot print PET or Nylon at the minute but both would probably be a better alternative and Nylon I think would potentially work really well.
**Update added a 10 teeth version, IGUS part number this closely matches is RJ4JP-01-08 but this is a 45mm version. The image for this on the website shows 12 teeth, but when I looked at the drawing it shows 10!
