The file 'M3, M4, M5, M6, M7, M8, M10 Nut Placeholder 3D Printer Model' is (123dx,stl) file type, size is 416.0KB.
I often need some kind of regular (M3, M4, ...) nuts to create things, that should be buildable without glue but with screws. And it's annoying to create the needed space for the nuts every time.
So bit by bit I'll add the regular Mx-Nuts.
a = side length, b = diameter side-to-side, c = diameter edge-to-edge, d = height (all units are in millimeters mm)
M3: a = 3.175, b = 5.5, c = 6.351, d = 2.4
M4: a = 4.04, b = 6.997, c = 8.08, d = 3.2
M5: a = 4.619, b = 8, c = 9.238, d = 4
M6: a = 5.774, b = 10, c = 11.548, d = 5
M7: a = 6.351, b = 11, c = 12.702, d = 5.5
M8: a = 7.506, b = 13, c = 15.012, d = 6.5
M10: a = 9.815, b = 17, c = 19.63, d = 8
I'm using the dimensions from http://zjpenghong.en.alibaba.com/product/632279128-209923341/DIN_934_Hex_Nut_Size_M4_Nuts_Nut_and_Bolt_Bolts_Nuts_Low_Carbon_Steel_Stainless_Steel.html .
