This is what I made for the Lynx specifically where the barrel doesn't stick far enough out of the barrel. I had a string scar for 16mm barrels but it was too wide, so this adapter attaches onto a 16mm barrel, and then extends it a touch so that you can but a 16mm barrel scar onto it. I used a brim, but my printer was having issues with things falling off, so if yours doesn't with things like this then don't worry about it.
