Designed for the Kossel Mini with 170mm x 3.3mm round glass print beds, these brackets eke out every last mm of vertical print volume (233.5mm on my build) by putting the bottom of the bed level with the frame beams. Ok, I admit it: you could go maybe 0.5mm lower by letting the rounded edges of the glass actually rest on the edge of beams, but bad things tend to happen when glass meets metal and thermal effects are a consideration. What thermal effects you ask? I was just getting to that.
The brackets bolt to the frame beams and support the outer 5mm rim of the glass, leaving the inner 160mm open for a stick-on round kapton print bed heater! Or if you're Chuck Norris and thus have no need for a bed heater, you could print a logo or something on the back of the glass to show off.
Note: these brackets are not compatible with the Mini's optional power supply/power brick mount.
