This is a phone or small tablet stand. I designed it so that it wouldn't obstruct any of your device's screen, thus making it "low profile". It should be able to easily handle smartphones in any orientation, but with larger tablets I would suggest turning them on their side before using this stand. You can also use 2 of these stands in tandem if you really want that extra level of stability.
Test the stand out a bit before trusting your device to it; I don't want to have any cracked screens on my conscience :)
