The third thing in my Week of Things, some useful, some just for fun. Thought this would force me to post some of my projects. Most are semi useful/functional and some are purely inspirational.
A low profile mount for IKEAs, now discontinued, Kvartal curtain rail system.
1- Simply print as many mounts as you want, remembering that they only work on straight pieces. Print it in silver, white or aluminium to blend it in with the rods.
2- Get a friend or two to help hold up the rod while you drill pilot holes.
3- Take down the curtain rod and drill the holes in the mount to the outer diameter of your screws.
4- Mount your rail and enjoy
