This low pressure lip is designed for the Extreme Flight Slick 580 107" 100cc RC plane to enhance engine cooling by creating negative pressure at the bottom of the cowl. The design can be easily scaled and adapted for other aircraft, making it a versatile solution for improving airflow and cooling efficiency.
The lip is intended to be mounted using epoxy glue or screws to ensure a secure fit. When 3D printed with 40% infill in PLA, it provides excellent durability and can withstand heat without issue. This modification is a practical addition to prevent overheating during flights.
