The file 'Low Poly Falcon Heavy – Hollow Exhaust 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 617.4KB.
This is a remix of a remix. All credit for this original model and idea go to Doctorwatson's original thing, and thanks to him for making this wonderful piece!
Then, ThatDutchGuy's remix made it much easier to print by slicing it into 3 convenient pieces for multicolor printing and/or to help with print volume limitations.
However, one problem is that the exhaust is solid. If you print it with 0% infill...well, its not possible to print with 0% infill correctly. It will air print significantly at several points during the print. This is a problem if you want to do something cool, like put an LED inside the exhaust to make it glow, or want it semi-transparent but without ugly infill structures visible.
So, I've made this remix as the solution! The exhaust has been hollowed out so it can be printed hollow using conventional removable supports. In fact, at 0.15mm layer height, I was able to print this using minimal supports with a 5° support threshold (almost horizontal) and the exhaust is about 2mm thick so it can scale down a bit and scale up as much as you want.
STL is manifold and error-free to make your slicer happy.
