A test to remix a bevel gear ball with an arbitrary shape in Blender using Booleans.
Everything should be printed without supports except for the head.
Print 1 of everything except the pins, 8 pins are required.
There's a certain assembly rotation required. An illustration has been provided on how to attach the head to the core. As long as that is correct and everything else aligns, the shape should build and the gears should mesh.
This requires attention, as there is another possible rotation [when assembling] that looks very similar and the gears will mesh, but the shape will not form correctly.
