I searched for a birthday present idea and came across xand3r's bunny support base. I had a WS2812 led strip, as well a battery and a wemos lying around, so i thought about making a rechargeable luminous bunny with WLED.
First i tried to change the existing base design, but ended up to completely remake the base and also fixing the size of the bunny.
I made a cutout for a IP-5305 charging module and a single DIP switch.
My first thought was to use a TP4056, but the IP-5305 (which btw is a lot thicker) has an integrated step down and boost converter.
I glued everything down with hotglue and used doublesided tape for the bunny.
