Based loosely on Houghmagandie's Y5 this extensively reworked loco now has boiler top coal bunkers and a full width cab.
Based loosely on the LNER Y5 'Coffee pot' shunting loco this version has been simplified for FDM printers.
There's three body versions for you to choose from, version 2 being the closest to the original Y5.
Not an accurate reproduction, it lacks wheel arches amongst other things, it was designed around the Hornby 0-4-0 chassis with valve gear and comes in 2 pieces.
The chassis is only 1mm thick at it's lowest point but prints well top down. Once printed the body locates to the rear of the chassis. It's easiest to mount the chassis on the Hornby power unit before gluing on the body.
