Made this bearing holder for the LM8UU used on the Prusa MK3.
Design is a remix of the BEAR bearing holders, but these does fit the Original Prusa MK3.
•Support Origiginal Prusa i3 MK3
•Strong and solid bearing holders
•Compatible with standard LM8UU bearing, Igus RJ4JP, Misumi and Motedis bearings
•Bearing are perfectly centered
•Clean shape to avoid any printing artifacts
•Require a perfect alignment of the Y axis
I advise to use round headed socket screws M3x16 / M3x18 for V1 (1 dot)
The dot indicates the version; 1 dot v1, 2 dots v2, etc
Do not tight them too much! Follow the same instructions as original Prusa i3 manual : http://manual.prusa3d.com/
Revisions:
V1: My original LM8 BEARING HOLDER MK3
V2: Made the recess for the screw head 0.6mm deeper (can't go much deeper in this design) NOT TESTED IF ITS DEEP ENOUGH, please let me know
