The file 'LM2596 / LM2596S Buck Converter Case With 2020 Mount And Power Switch 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 20.8KB.
A stylish and easy to print enclosure for an LM2596(S) buck converter, which I use for an LED light strip on my Ender 3 (it converts the 24V down to 12V). Apart from the design the main difference as compared to other projects here is that it includes a power switch.
The case itself should be all plug and play, except for 2 screws (M2 or M2.5) used to attach the top. Just slide the case into the profile of the 2020 extrusion (e.g. on the Ender 3 simply remove the plastic cap and slide the mount into the extrusion - no need for screws or any other material).
LM2596 / LM2596S come in a variety of sizes and form factors. I have left a little extra space that should allow for slightly bigger boards (but you may have to adapt the two pins, that hold the board in place).
I use this version of the LM2596S
and a small rocker switch (note that these are smaller than the ones commonly used)
